Have you experienced a "dropped call(s)" when using Sideline when you have VoIP calling enabled? If so, please view the information below in order to troubleshoot the issue.
- Your call has dropped (call ended) when you were in the middle of a conversation
- You have VoIP Calling enabled
Cause and Resolution
More often than not, dropped calls are associated with your network connection strength when you are using VoIP calling. Any lapse in connection during a call can potentially end your call when it was not intended (dropped).
To potentially resolve this issue:
If you require VoIP for calling in Sideline, please follow the steps below:
- Connect to a different network from the one where you are experiencing the dropped call
- Place a test call and determine if the call is still dropping with the "new" network you are connected to
If you are still experiencing the issue:
Please consider using your Carrier data as Sideline works best with VoIP calling disabled (due to network connection unreliability from time-to-time)
