Porting out is simply the transfer of your Sideline number out of Sideline to another service (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc).
If you port out your Sideline number, you will no longer have an assigned phone number on your account, and will need to choose a new another one in order to continue using Sideline.
The number you port out will become the number you use with the service you have ported your number out to.
Some things to mention before porting your number out:
- Don't cancel or deactivate your account just yet - porting your number out may take a couple days depending on the time the other service provider takes to process the request. Therefore, you should wait until you have received confirmation from them that your number has successfully been ported in.
- There is a one-time fee to port out your number- you can take your number anywhere.
- If you are subscribed to either the Sideline Pro/ Remove Ads bundles,-There isn't an extra charge to port-out your number. This will be included :)
Please note, you will need to cancel your auto-renewing subscription through your app store. Otherwise, you'll continue getting charged your monthly subscription fee!
