In the US
Yes. As long as you can receive international calls through your current carrier's plan.
You can place outbound international calls if you are part of a Sideline Enterprise account or an individual who would like to subscribe to international calling. International calling is an additional $14.99 per month, per line. To set this up, talk to the administrator of your account to have them upgrade you or click here.
**Keep in mind that international calling plans will end your call after 30 min. That's okay! You can just call your contact back
If you're not subscribed to international calling, it is likely you will incur charges dependent on what plan you have set up with your service provider.
If you're traveling internationally, not subscribed to international calling, and do not have a plan set up to call while outside of the US, we would recommend turning on your Wi-Fi calling option, and using the service while in an area with WiFi. To ensure you're not fluctuating between data and WiFi, turn your device on airplane mode, with WiFi ON.
This works the same way as placing a call through your mobile phone number to a US number internationally. If you do not have a plan set up to allow calls back to the US while international, you will incur charges through your carrier.
No. Unless you are subscribed to international calling for the fee of $14.99 per month per line, Sideline does not support international calling.
Can I send/receive international text messages?
No. Unfortunately, at this time we do not support sending or receiving messages with this plan.
**Keep in mind, we still require a small amount of data to connect calls, so you may incur roaming charges if you are not using WiFi, or do not have an international calling card set up.
