If you or another team member needs to update the cell number that is registered to the Team Number account, please follow the instructions below.
To change your registered phone number:
If you are the Sideline account holder, you can easily change the number that is registered to your Team Number account by having any member of the team send an invite to your NEW cell number.
- Log out of Sideline on your old device (that's attached to your old registered number).
- Have another team member send an invite to your new cellphone number.
- For instructions on how to send an invite: "How to send an invite for Team Number"
- Accept the invite on the NEW number/device.
- Once the invite has been accepted, you can remove the old cell number from the account.
Please Note: If you try to change the registered number per the normal steps, you will receive an error message. For more information, visit our Help Site article, "'Unable to invite' to Team Number error message"
