What's Sideline? Sideline is a Google Fi alternative that adds a 2nd number to your current phone for just $9.99/month.
Once you have created your Sideline account and chosen a temporary Sideline number, go to Number Porting in the Sideline settings.
To start the port-out process please follow the stepsbelowto cancel your Google Fi account:
Open the Google Fi website or app
In the Account tab select Manage plan
Select Cancel service
Note: If you see Leave plan instead of Cancel service, you'll have to leave your group plan before you can follow these steps
Follow the guided steps to confirm cancellation and choose the option Transfer your number to another carrier
Here's everything you'll need:
Account Number
5 numerical digits you’ll receive after you cancel your account
PIN
5 numerical digits you’ll receive after you cancel your account
Billing Telephone Number
This is the number you want to transfer.
Account Owner's Name
This is the name associated with the Google Fi account.
Billing Address
This is the address that is associated with the Google Fi account.
