Can I change my Team Number?

Yes, you can change your phone number associated with your Team Number account, but it requires additional steps. Please read the important notes below prior to changing your Team Number. 

Important: 

• If you change your number associated with your Team Number account, all of your current data will be lost, and you will be starting over with a brand new account. Therefore, it is advised to take note of any important messages or contacts in your existing account prior to changing your number. 
  • For information on how to save your content, please visit our help site article: How do I retrieve conversation or message history? 
    • Keep in mind that you will be unable to export content from Sideline Web as it is not compatible with Team Number accounts. 

Note: Sideline does not have the option to export messages or call logs. 

Please follow the instructions below in order to change your team phone number in Sideline:

Step 1: Remove Team Number from your account

Step 2: Re-invite team members to your account

Once you've completed the steps above, you will have to activate Team Number again and reinvite your team members to share the new number.

1. Go to 'Sideline Settings' (in-app)
2. Tap 'Team Number'
3. Tap 'Set up Team Number' for iOS or 'Invite Member' for Android
4. Once you choose a contact, you will be asked to confirm that you want to share your                    number with that person
