Need to update your email address that's associated with your account? If so, you can easily do so within the app. After changing your email address, we recommend verifying it, so we've provided instructions on how to do that as well.
To change your email address:
- Sideline app Settings
- Tap 'Account Info'
- Tap 'Email'
- Input your new email address
- Tap 'Save'
As mentioned above, we recommend verifying your email address on your account so you can easily reset your password if you forget it. If you've changed your email address, please follow the steps below on how to verify your new email address.
Verifying your new email address
If you need to reset your password, and no longer have access to your registered phone number, then having a verified email address serves as a backup to receive the password reset link.
From your app:
- Sideline app Settings
- Tap 'Account Info'
- Tap 'Email'
- Input your email address
- Tap 'Save'
- You will receive an email with the subject: "Verify your email"
- Click the button to continue to verify the email for your Sideline account

From your desktop:
- Go to Sideline Web
- At the top right corner, click your Sideline number
- Click Account Settings
- Enter your email address
- Click Re-send verification email
- You will receive an email with the subject: "Verify your email"
- Click the button to continue to verify the email for your Sideline account
