The Contact Panel is designed to pop-up after you end an incoming or outgoing phone call with a customer (so as long as it meets the requirements).
If there are times when you don't need, nor want, the Contact Panel at that specific moment, you can manually dismiss it by:
- Tapping on the "X" below the Contact Panel
- Swipe down on the screen
The Contact Panel will automatically be dismissed when:
- You complete an action within the panel
- If you exit out of the Sideline app
Please note: The Contact Panel from your first call will be automatically dismissed if you answer a second incoming call, and you will not regain access to the previous call's Contact Panel selections.
If you dismiss the Contact Panel without adding notes or saving the contact name, the unknown number will NOT be shown in your Sideline Contacts.
