There are times when your customer may call you from a new phone number that you have yet to save in your Sideline Pro Contacts (mobile, work, home number, etc).
Please view the information below on how to add a new number to an existing contact.
--Tab Names--
--Tab 1 Start--
To save from the conversation screen in your inbox:
Important: The process below only works for unsaved numbers that do not contain 'Maybe' under the phone number (as seen with the 'Number ID' feature). In short, if the number you want to save to an existing contact displays 'Maybe', you'll have to copy & paste the number into your Pro address book to prevent duplicate contacts.
- View your Sideline Inbox
- Click on the phone number you wish to save (conversation)
- Tap the Address Book icon > tap Add to Existing Contact
- Search the name in the sear bar or Scroll to find the contact name
- Click Done
You should now see the Contact name in the conversation and you will see the second number under your Contact in the address book as well.
