How do I change my password?

Note: If you need to reset your password because you are unable to log into Sideline, visit the Forgot Password article for assistance.

If you wish to proactively update your password while logged into your Sideline account, you can do so from either:

  • Sideline mobile
  • Sideline Web

Sideline Password Requirements

New passwords must contain:

  • At least 8 characters.
  • At least 1 upper case letter.
  • At least 1 special character. (such as !?*&%@)
  • At least 1 number.

Note: Passwords cannot contain spaces. If they do, you'll see an "Invalid Password" error message. 

Important: You must create a password that is not considered "common" or is easily guessed. If your password does not meet ALL of the requirements stated above, you will receive an error message and won't be able to update your password until each requirement is met.

Please ensure your new password meets the requirements seen above.

Changing your password via Sideline mobile:

  1. Log into Sideline.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Account Info.
  4. Type in your current password in the 'Old Password' field.
  5. Type in your New Password.
    • Ensure your password meets all of the requirements seen above.  
  6. When all password requirements have been met, tap the Save button to update your password.

Note: If you are unable to save your new password, please confirm there's a checkmark next to EACH of the password requirements. If you see one or more of the requirements in red, this indicates that you have not met those requirements and cannot save until you do so.

Changing your password via Sideline mobile:

While logged into your account:

  1. Log into Sideline.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Account Info.
  4. Tap Change Password.
  5. Enter your current password.
  6. Enter your new password.
  7. Confirm your new password by entering it for a second time.
    • Ensure your password meets all of the requirements seen above.  
  8. When all password requirements have been met, tap Update to save your new password.

Changing your password via Sideline Web:

Please Note: Sideline Web uses Flash technology and cannot be viewed using mobile devices, but require a laptop or desktop computer.

  1. Log into your Sideline Web account.
  2. Click the drop-down menu located under your Sideline number.
  3. From the menu, select Settings.
  4. In the Current Password field, enter your current password.
  5. Enter the new password you'd like to use.
  6. Confirm your new password by entering it again.
    • Ensure your password meets all of the requirements seen above.  
  7. When all password requirements have been met, tap Save.
