This article addresses some common messaging questions that you as a Sideline user may have, and it will help you get started with basic messaging functions within the app.
Since Sideline uses data from your service plan, if you're unsure of the size of the data plan you have, we recommend checking with your carrier to see the data limit you have per month.
Please Note:
- Texting over WiFi is always free
- If you exceed your data limit, standard messaging fees may apply
- If you're in Canada: We do not support any MMS to Canadian numbers at this time
- If the user is sending to Metro PCS: they must send to phonenumber@mymetropcs.com
- There's an 8 MB and 100-second limit on videos. If an image or video exceeds these limits, it may be resized which can cause the visual to resize and cause distortion.
