Message Reactions

The Sideline mobile app allows you to easily use emojis to respond to messages or view reactions from the person you're conversing with. It's like the "message reactions" feature on your phone, which you may already be accustomed to.

Available Emoji Reactions

To add a reaction to a message, just tap and hold the message, then pick the emoji you want to use. 

Here’s a quick note: 

• If you want to change your emoji reaction, just tap and hold the message again and choose a new emoji.
• You’ll also be able to view any message reactions from the person you’re chatting with. (Depending on the device, received reactions may display as a written reaction instead of just the emoji itself.)

Here's an example of what you will see when reacting to a message using the app:

Web 

You can view and send message reactions on Sideline Web. Here's how: 

1. Hover over the message you want to add a reaction to. 
2. Select the emoji reaction from the list of options and click to send.
