Read below to learn more about how to create, edit, and delete Templates.
You can access your current Templates:
- From Pro Settings (under Pro Tools)
- From your keyboard (the icon to the left of the text box)
- From the Contact Panel (Pro iOS only) after you end a call (provided that it meets the requirements)

To set up Templates:
Note: If you recently upgraded to Pro or have not set up your Templates, we automatically created three Templates for you to customize to your business.
- View your Pro Settings.
- Under Pro Tools, tap Templates.
- Click "+Add My Logo" if you'd like to add your business logo.
- You can choose from your camera roll photos or take a new photo.
- Input your Business Name.
- Input your name.
- Type in the name you would like to have displayed in the text responses.
- Click "Review Your Templates."
- This option will allow you to review your existing Templates.
- If you would like to make edits to your Templates while in review mode, Click "Edit."
Please note: You can have a max of 48 Templates saved.
To create a new Template:
- Sideline Pro Settings.
- Tap Templates.
- Tap Create New.
- Enter a title for your Template (up to 20 characters allowed).
- Add Logo (optional): Click +Add My Logo to add a photo from your camera roll or choose "Camera" to take a new photo.
- Write a message: Write your text message template here (500 character limit).
- Tap Save when complete.
Note: After you have added your logo to your first Template, you can choose "Add Logo" and it will copy the same logo for all of your templates.
To manage your existing Templates:
You can edit the Templates you've created, customize the default Templates you were given, and/or delete them. Here's how:
From Pro Settings:
- Under Pro Tools, tap Templates.
- Tap the Template to edit or delete.
Tip: You can Re-order your Templates (top-right of the screen) to keep them organized.
From within a conversation or new message screen:
- Tap
to the left of the text field.
- Tap 'Manage All'

- A screen will pop up, tap Continue.
- From there, we will collect some details to personalize your Templates.
- Click +Add My Logo if you'd like to add your business logo.
- You can choose from your camera roll photos or take a new photo.
- Input your Business Name.
- Input your first and last name.
- Type in the name you would like to have displayed in the text responses.
- When done, tap the Review Your Templates button.
- This option will allow you to review your existing Templates. (The three default Templates we created will be displayed here.)
- If you would like to make edits to your Templates while in review mode, tap Edit.

- On the Create Template screen, enter a title for your Template (up to 20 characters allowed).

- Tap Save when complete.
