If you currently have a Sideline account and wish to switch to our business app "Index" please view the detailed steps below.
Please be aware when migrating from Sideline to Index:
- You'll lose access to Sideline and sending messages. You CANNOT send messages or access Index Web until your business registration has been approved (ie, these features are unavailable while your registration is processing). More info.
- Your call and message data WILL transfer over when you migrate to Index so as long as you follow the steps outlined below.
- Once you've migrated, you'll be asked to register your business details with Index to get approved to use the app (more info on why this is required). If rejected, you will need to contact us or resubmit in order to be approved. Tips on how to get approved.
Step 1: Download the Index App
Step 2: Log into Index
Since you have an existing Sideline account, you can log into Index using your Sideline login information (number and password); you do not have to create a NEW account.
If you create a new Index account, your Sideline data will NOT transfer to Index.
Step 3: Subscribe to Index
Once logged in, you'll need to subscribe to an Index plan (since Index is treated as a separate subscription from Sideline). Here's how:
- Index Settings.
- Tap Subscription.
- Select the monthly subcription plan, then tap Subscribe.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to successfully subscribe to Index.
Step 4: Cancel Sideline Subscription
After you've subscribed to an Index plan, you'll need to cancel your Sideline subscription to avoid being charged for a Sideline AND Index subscription.
