Looking to use Sideline to hold a conference call for your business or to place a three-way call with your family members/friends?
If you are initiating the call:
If you are creating the conference or three-way call, please follow the steps below.
To place a three-way call:
- Place an outgoing call in Sideline with the number you would like to talk to first
- Once they pick up the call, tap the 'add call option' on the screen
- Type in the name/number of the 2nd contact you would like to add to the call
- Then dial
Please Note: Only one outbound phone call can be placed from Sideline. Additional recipients added to the conference call thereafter will see your cell number (not Sideline number) since we use your device's dialer to route calls.
To call into a conference call using your Sideline number: Dial the phone number provided by the meeting requester.
If you are receiving the call:
If you are answering a three-way or conference call to your Sideline number, all you have to do is answer the call to be connected. When you are added to the call, the other members will see your Sideline number and not your personal cell number.
Note: VoIP calling will need to be disabled in order for these types of calls to work.
Troubleshooting tip: If your 2nd incoming call is disconnecting automatically, please ensure that call waiting has not been disabled in your device settings.
