Yes, your Sideline phone number will remain active until you've successfully completed the port out process to the new Carrier.
What this means:
- You will still have access to Sideline and will continue to receive calls and messages to that number until your number is successfully ported out.
- You can still access your call and message history/logs while the port is in process.
Once the port has been completed, you can still use Sideline but you will be required to choose a new Sideline number (since your old number was ported out of our service).
Important: During the port-out process, it is important to avoid closing your account or canceling your Sideline subscription until your number has been successfully ported out.
After you have successfully ported your number:
- You will need to cancel your subscription through your App Store to avoid further charges as porting your number out of Sideline does not automatically cancel your subscription.
