Can Sideline encrypt text messages?

Encrypted messaging (also known as secure messaging) provides end-to-end encryption for user-to-user text messaging. 

Sideline does not support end-to-end encryption of text messages, however, our servers are encrypted. 

What this means:

• Your message is secure from the time you send it to when it hits our servers. This is referred to as 'on-net messaging' which means that we have control over the encryption.
• Once it hits our servers, the message is sent via our service provider which we use to route your inbound/outbound messages.
  • This is called 'off-net messaging' and we do not have control over the messages at this point and thus we cannot confirm the encryption of such messages as it is out of our control.
