What’s changing?
We have made the difficult decision to discontinue Enterprise on Sideline. The Enterprise feature set will be removed from your account once this change occurs (see below for timeline). Specifically, Admin Web, Portal & Web Billing, Admin and Employee Roles, Auto Attendant, and International Calling will no longer be available.
Please review the information below for details about when to expect this change and what options you have moving forward.
Who is impacted by this change?
ALL Enterprise accounts, which include both "Admin-only" and "Admin + Multi phone number" accounts, are impacted.
- Admin-only accounts = there is only one phone number on the account (ie: Admin line)
- Admin + multiple phone number accounts = there is one Admin number plus additional phone numbers on the account.
When will this change occur?
We will be discontinuing Enterprise in June 2025. The exact date for when your account will change depends on how your account is currently set up:
- "Admin-only" accounts will have Enterprise removed on June 2, 2025.
- "Admin / Multi phone number" accounts will have Enterprise removed on June 30, 2025.
What options do I have?
That depends on how your Enterprise account is currently set up:
If you have one Admin line with NO additional numbers on the account, your account will be automatically migrated to a Sideline Standard (individual) account. Not to worry, you can port your number out at any time post-migration, free of charge.
If you have one Admin line plus two or more phone numbers on the account, you can either move each employee to Sideline Standard (individual) accounts OR port out your phone numbers to another service that suits your needs.
What are my next steps?
Admin-Only accounts
Once your account has migrated to a Sideline Standard account, you will be required to subscribe to Sideline to use the app and Web. (Your Enterprise subscription will not transfer to a Sideline Standard subscription.) You can subscribe via the Sideline app Settings > Subscription.
Your settings and call/message history WILL transfer to your Standard account, so there’s no worry of losing your communication data once Enterprise is removed.
Admin + multi phone number accounts
If you decide to port your numbers out of Sideline to another service, we are here to help make this transition as smooth as possible.

How to port your numbers out of Sideline
Your Enterprise Admin will receive an email with porting instructions and a PIN you can use to port out all of the numbers currently assigned to your Sideline Enterprise account. If you are having trouble receiving this email, please contact Sideline Support.
Important to note about multi-number accounts:
- If you choose to have the team stay with Sideline (instead of porting out), all members/numbers will be transitioned to Sideline Standard (individual) accounts. All team members will be required to set up payments/subscriptions within the App Store.
- Any reserved numbers not assigned to any team members will be lost. For assistance with this, please contact Sideline Support.
- Admin will no longer own the right to the telephone number once the account is converted to an individual Standard account. To retain ownership of the Admin number, please port the number out of Sideline to another service.
What happens if I don’t port my numbers by the deadline?
If you don't port out your numbers by the deadline and they are migrated to individual Sideline Standard accounts, you will still be able to port out those numbers, but will have to do so from each individual Sideline Standard account (which can be tedious).

Billing
After your account migrates to a Sideline individual (Standard) account, you’ll have three months to subscribe to Sideline Standard via the app stores to maintain access.
Tip: I you need to download any invoices, we recommend doing so now (before Enterprise is removed). If you are having trouble downloading your invoices, please contact Sideline support for assistance.
