How to cancel your subscription

You have a few options when it comes to how you cancel your subscription. Please review the information below to determine which method of canceling your subscription works best for you.

To cancel your subscription via Sideline:

Important: You will need to be on Sideline app version 3.57+ in order to cancel your subscription within the Sideline app.

1. Open Sideline
2. Tap 'Settings'
3. Tap 'Sideline Subscription' (under Bells & Whistles section)
4. Tap the green 'Manage Subscription' button 
5. You will then be directed to the Google Play Store Subscription Page 
   • From there, follow the instructions to cancel your subscription

To cancel your subscription via the Google Play Store:

1. Open the Google Play Store  on your device
2. Tap Menu   Subscriptions
3. Tap the subscription you want to cancel
4. Tap Cancel subscription
5. Follow the onscreen instructions

To cancel your subscription via the Web:

1. Visit the Google Play Store
2. Sign in with your ID credentials
3. Click on Subscriptions & Services on the left-hand side
4. Your active subscriptions will be listed and you can click Manage to cancel

Please Note: You will still have access to your subscription for the remainder of your billing period.

To request a refund:

1. Visiting Google's website and follow the instructions on how to request a refund.
2. You can also request a refund from Sideline by reaching out to our support department and providing the following information: 
   • Copy of your Google Play receipt that shows your subscription purchase
   • Order Number for the purchase 
   • Order Numbers should be in the format: GPA.1234-5678-9123-45678

Canceling your Sideline subscription can only be done through the Apple app store. You cannot cancel your subscription through the Sideline app or the Support team. See below for instructions.

To cancel your Sideline subscription:

1. Open your iPhone Settings.
2. At the top of the screen, tap on your name, then tap Subscriptions.
3. Tap Sideline.
4. To confirm, tap Cancel Subscription.

If you don't see "Subscriptions" in the Settings app, follow these steps:

1. 1. Tap iTunes & Apple Store instead.
   2. Tap your Apple ID to pull up your Apple app store account (this may be either your profile photo or your email address).
   3. Tap View Apple ID.
   4. Sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, then tap Subscriptions.
   5. Tap Sideline.
   6. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Please Note: If you cancel prior to your subscription renewal date, you will continue to have access to your Sideline subscription for the remainder of your billing period.

Refunds

Sideline Support does not have the authority to process refunds for iOS customers since all purchases are strictly handled & processed by the Apple/iTunes store. Therefore, refund requests for a Sideline subscription must be handled through Apple.
