FYI: We only support service to contiguous United States residents while they are within the contiguous US at this time. If you reside outside of the contiguous US, you cannot create an account. We apologize for any inconvenience.

To get started:
Via our website:
- Click here to redirect to our Sideline website. Select "Get the App," then scan the QR code from your phone to download the Sideline app.
Via your cellphone:
- Download Sideline from the Google Play Store.
- Check the minimum device requirements to download and use Sideline HERE.
To create a mobile account:
- Download the Sideline Application to your Android device.
- Note: You'll need to download the app from the App Store to ensure you're on the more recent version. If not, you'll receive an error.
- Open the Sideline App and select what you're going to be using Sideline for (Professional or Personal Use).
- Enter your Android mobile number, then tap Continue.
- On the "Create an Account" screen, enter your information into the displayed fields.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Mobile Number
- Then, create a password (ensure your password meets the requirements seen here, or you will be unable to proceed).
- Tap "Continue"
- On the "Verify Your Number" screen, enter the verification code we just texted to your mobile number.
- Once verified, enter an area code to use with your Sideline number, then click Continue.
- Choose your Sideline number from the list (or you can search for a more specific number)
- Confirm your number selection.
- After that, select the subscription plan (monthly or yearly).
- Confirm your selection by tapping Continue.
- Enter your app store info to log in and confirm your subscription.
- Allow the various notifications/permissions to ensure Sideline functions properly.
After that, you'll be taken to your new inbox and can start using Sideline. Check out the "Getting Started" section for more info/tutorials.
Items to note:
- Sideline relies on your mobile service for managing communications. For the most reliable service, we strongly encourage registering with a number from an active carrier plan. Using a VoIP number is not guaranteed to function properly.
- Your Sideline number will be displayed at the top of your inbox, as well as in your Account Info section (Settings > Account Info)
- Be sure to enable permissions once you create an account to ensure Sideline functions as intended.

- On the "Verify It's You" screen, enter the verification code we just texted to your mobile number.
- A Sideline number will be given; you can choose to confirm the number or select "Change Number" at this time.
- After that, select the subscription plan (monthly or yearly).
- Confirm your selection by selecting "Continue".
- Enter your app store info to log in and confirm your subscription.
- Allow the various notifications/permissions to ensure Sideline functions properly.
