From what we've seen, it is unlikely that spam blocking apps will work with Sideline. When enabled, spam blocking apps will greatly increase the chance that incoming Sideline calls will not ring.
Why?
Sideline uses pilot numbers to connect your calls. Since these pilot numbers are used every time you make or receive a call, the spam-blocking software you have on your phone will most likely classify the pilot numbers as spam due to high use.
Examples of Spam blocking apps:
- Robokiller
- Nomorobo
- Truecaller
- Hiya
Note: If the person you're calling has spam blocking software enabled, your call might be marked as spam and blocked due to Sideline's use of pilot numbers to route your calls. If this is the case, please contact support and we will further assist you.
We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we do have spam recognition for Sideline Android users currently and are working on this feature for iOS.
If you have further questions, please submit a request.
