This article is for assistance with porting your number into Sideline for use as a 2nd number for your smartphone.
Porting your number can be a tedious experience. To help you out, we put together a porting guide for everything you'll need to successfully port your number from the major carriers to Sideline.
Before porting a number into Sideline, you'll need to do the following:
- Create a Sideline account
- Choose a temporary Sideline phone number
After the above steps have been completed, you can proceed to port a number in by navigating to your Settings > Number Porting.
There are five basic types of information you will need to port your number into Sideline:
- Account Number
- Billing Address
- Telephone Number
Please Note: To obtain the information needed to port, please log into your Carrier account or contact their support department
FYI: In order to port your number into Sideline, you'll need to sign up for or have an existing Sideline Standard account.
