No, you should not cancel your service while your port is in-progress. Canceling your service before your number has been successfully transferred can result in losing your phone number completely.
You can proceed with canceling your old service once your port has been completed successfully.
To check the status of your port to determine completion:
- Sideline Settings.
- Scroll to Number Porting to view the current status of your port.
