How to add a contact photo in Sideline

Whether you have an iOS or Android device, you'll be able to add a photo to your Sideline contact. See below for instructions. 

To add a photo to an existing Android contact:

1. Click on the address book icon 
2. Find the contact you wish to add a photo to 
3. Click the pencil icon on the upper righthand corner of the screen
4. Click Add Photo which will give you two options:
   1. Choose Photo = choose a photo from your camera roll
   2. Take Photo = take a new photo (ensure Sideline has access to your camera)
5. Choose the photo you would like from your camera roll or take the photo
6. When the photo has been uploaded, tap Save 

To change/delete an existing contact photo:

Tap the pencil icon > tap Edit Photo on the contact screen > Choose 'Choose Photo', 'Take Photos', or 'Delete Photo' > follow the prompts. 

To add a photo to an existing iOS contact:

1. Click on the address book icon.
2. Find the contact you wish to add a photo to. 
3. Click Edit on the top right portion of the contact details.
4. Click Edit once more. 
5. Click Add Photo.
6. Choose one: 
   • Camera icon = take a new photo (ensure Sideline has access to your camera > press "OK")
   • Picture icon = choose a photo from your camera roll
   • Emoji = select an emoji to use as the contact photo.
   • Pencil icon = enter up to two letters to use as the contact photo.
7. When the photo has been uploaded and customized (optional), tap Done to save.

To change/delete an existing contact photo:

1. Tap Edit on the contact screen > Edit (under the current photo). 
2. Follow the steps above to take a photo, select one, etc.
3. Tap Done to save your new changes.
