Email notifications
You can have your incoming Sideline text messages emailed to you (it's an optional Setting). Here's how to enable email notifications for your registered email:
- Sideline app Settings.
- Under Texting, locate Email Notifications.
- Tap to enable (green) or disable (gray).
Note: Voicemail transcriptions/notifications are not emailed; only text notifications can be sent to your email.
Call & Text Notifications
To change your notifications settings:
- Go to Sideline Settings.
- Tap Get Help.
- Tap Manage Permissions.
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap ON to enable notifications in Sideline.

Call & Text Notifications
- Sideline app Settings.
- Tap Support.
- Tap Manage Permissions.
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap the Allow Notifications bar to enable notifications (green).
Please Note: Be sure that Allow Notifications is enabled, then determine your preferred notification settings (Lock screen, notification center, banners, etc.) See below for more information on the individual notifications and how they work in Sideline.
- Show in Notification Center - Appears as a notification when you pull down from the top of your screen
- Sounds - receive an audible alert when your volume is on
- Badge App Icon - A red bubble on the app icon when outside of the app that alerts you of notification within Sideline
- Show on Lock Screen - receive notifications when your app is locked
